Pastor Darrel Forte was a remarkably gifted teacher of the Bible who possessed an unwavering confidence in his calling. He carried an inner confidence in his gift, occasionally reminding his listeners with a warm, knowing smile, "I can stand with the best of them." And nobody in the pews ever doubted it.

Yet, for all his strength and sharp intellect, it was his tenderness that left the deepest mark. He understood that true authority didn't come from a position or a badge, but from love, and many who sat under his ministry affectionately referred to him as their "gentle giant."

Though he has departed this life, his lessons remain etched into the hearts of everyone he mentored, pastored, and loved. Pastor Darrel Forte fought the good fight, finished his race, and kept the faith. He is gone from our sight, but forever rooted in our memories.
